Professor Vincent Quatroy

- Head instructor with over 15 years experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,
- Over 25 years total experience in Martial Arts
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Professor Vince Quatroy began training Martial Arts at the age of 12 when a family member brought him to a local boxing gym. A few years later discovering the kickboxing scene of the early 90’s the gym he was training at began to offer grappling classes after the first UFC event. Being exposed to wrestling in military school as a freshman, he decided that grappling was the sport he wanted to pursue. It wasn’t until 2004 he decided to join a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym and start learning in the gi. After Hurricane Katrina his school closed and his Judo coach introduced him to Professor Rafael Ellwanger in 2006. Professor Vince Quatroy has trained under professor Rafael ever since, earning his black belt in 2021. After living in the Mandeville Area for over 20 years, he decided to continue his passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as an instructor at Gracie United Mandeville.
